Public sector slow to settle accounts

IRISH public sector bodies take longer to settle their accounts than private or business customers, according to a new survey carried out by credit management giant Intrum Justitia.

The survey found public bodies took an average of 56 days to settle their accounts, while private and business customers took 51 days and 53 days respectively.
