CCI honours social responsibility

JOHNSON and Johnson was named overall winners at the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland’s (CCI) annual president’s awards for corporate social responsibility last night.

It was rewarded for its special achievers club in association with Special Olympics Ireland, through which more than 350 employees of the five Munster-based Johnson and Johnson companies, their families and friends became involved in running several of the Special Olympics Ireland Munster regional games.

Other winners included Vodafone Ireland for its partnership with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Bupa Ireland for its partnership with GROW and O2 Ireland for its association with the Aisling Foundation.
