Cable & Wireless chief earns €3.3m

Cable & Wireless chief executive Francesco Caio, who last year cut the company’s loss and halted falling British sales, earned €3.3 million, almost three times more than his predecessor, Graham Wallace.

Cable & Wireless chief earns €3.3m

Mr Caio, 46, was paid a salary of €1,050,000 and a bonus of €1,300,000 in the year ended March, according to the company’s annual report.

Mr Wallace, who quit in April 2003, was paid €1,300,000 a year earlier.
