TYRONE Productions, the television company owned by John McColgan and Moya Doherty, saw its losses increase by 250% last year.

Accounts just filed for the company, which makes the TG4 soap Ros na Rún and RTÉ current affairs show The Big Bite, recorded a loss of €436,280 in 2004 up from €135,622 in 2003.

No turnover figures were given in the accounts because it is a medium size company and not required to disclose all details.
