Waterford to host manufacturing talk

Waterford Institute of Technology will host a conference entitled ’New Manufacturing, New Competition’ on September 9. The conference aims to improve the institute’s partnership with industry and the local community.

Key speakers include Professor Paul Thompson, director of research at the Department of Human Resource Management in Glasgow’s University of Strathclyde and Nicky Hartery, vice-president of Manufacturing and Business Operations for Dell in Europe.
