Radio group expects 11% rise

Scottish Radio Holdings, owner of the Kilkenny People and Today FM, said yesterday that it expected an 11% rise in group revenues for the first six months of its financial year and added its long-term prospects were attractive.

In a trading update it said like-for-like revenues - which excludes the effects of acquisitions - have increased by 4%.

“The group has had an encouraging first six months, with healthy performances from the radio and press divisions. We are pleased with the first half and look forward to a good result for the group overall, for the year to September 30, 2005,” the company added.
