Free business paper to launch

A NEW free business newspaper to rival the Financial Times will be launched in London later this year, under plans confirmed by its editors yesterday.

London Business Daily will be distributed to commuters travelling on the city’s transport network.

It is the brainchild of Lawson Muncaster, a former executive of Swedish firm Metro International, which publishes 57 daily papers in 18 countries but does not yet have a foothold in Britain.
