Loughrey named as ATUC chairman

DAN LOUGHREY has been appointed chairman of the Air Transport Users Council (ATUC).

Mr Loughrey is currently director of corporate communications at Bank of Ireland and a former director of Aer Lingus.

Mr Loughrey replaces Tadhg Kearney, who has worked with the council since its foundation 22 years ago.

The ATUC, part of Chambers Ireland, represents the interests of the business community as consumers of air transport services.
