Iona names new chief executive

IONA Technologies has appointed Peter Zotto, currently the company’s president and chief operating officer, as its new chief executive officer.

Mr Zotto succeeds Dr Chris Horn, Iona’s co-founder, who will now become a non-executive vice-chairman of the board. Iona has reported net profits of just over $100,000 for the first three months of this year, down from just under $200,000.
