Hewlett-Packard shares enjoy gain

Hewlett-Packard Co shares had their biggest gain in two years after the computer maker said fourth-quarter profit beat its forecast and Chief Executive Carly Fiorina said she’s fixed mistakes in the server business.

Hewlett-Packard, the world’s No. 2 personal-computer maker, yester-day announced a 27% increase in profit. Shares rose as much as 8.3%.
