Firms concerned about link road

BUSINESSES in the Sandyford Economic Zone in Dublin have expressed concern at reports that members of Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council will vote against a recommendation from council management to proceed with granting planning permission for the proposed Sandyford Industrial Estate-Dundrum Link Road.

The vote is due to take place tonight. The road, which would run alongside the Luas line and on to the M50, has been approved by county councillors in successive county development plans.
