Maximum SSIA contributions have surged

With less than a year to go before the first of the 1.1 million accounts mature, new data from the Revenue Commissioners reveal that 35,000 more people are investing the maximum amount every month.

At the end of 2004, some 44% of all SSIA account holders were contributing the maximum of E254 a month.
