Chamber calls for childcare tax relief

THE Cork Chamber has urged the Government to introduce tax relief on childcare costs.

Chamber Budget task force chairman, Damian Riordan, said the Government must extend assistance employers can give without benefit-in-kind charges.

It said it must also improve supply of childcare places through smaller childcare units.
