Travelex confirms possible sale

The owners of the world’s biggest foreign exchange company, Travelex, yesterday confirmed that they may sell it.

Chairman and chief executive Lloyd Dorfman said that the group’s board was reviewing “all strategic options for the development of the business.”

Travelex said it had decided to launch the review following a number of unsolicited approaches from prospective buyers
