GlaxoSmithKline Plc, the largest maker of AIDS treatments, said its Telzir used with other HIV medicines helped suppress the virus for about two years in patients being treated for the first time.

Preliminary data from a study of 113 patients showed that 96% of those receiving Telzir with other so-called antiretroviral therapies had undetectable levels of the virus 96 weeks after beginning therapy.
