Heiton takeover deadline extended

The Irish Takeover Panel has extended the deadline for the takeover of building materials and DIY group Heiton by larger rival Grafton.

The panel said it had shifted the deadline from December 20 to January 10 to allow all outstanding conditions to be fulfilled.
