Horse Racing body names manager

HORSE RACING IRELAND has named Tony Jones as the new manager of its racecourse capital development programme. Mr Jones will oversee the racing development body’s €200m fund to upgrade racecourses.

He previously spent over 20 years with IDA Ireland and eight with Enterprise Ireland.

Mr Jones said: “I am greatly looking forward to working with racecourses to prioritise customers’ requirements and to evaluate capital projects,” he said.
