Dairygold faces tough talks as workers to meet management over redundancies

TOUGH talking is expected tomorrow when representatives of Dairygold’s management and workers meet to trash out the 500 redundancies targeted by the group.

Facing rising losses of €26 million by 2007, Dairygold says it will impose mandatory redundancies to get the numbers down.

Final applications for the redundancy package were extended to close of business tomorrow from the original deadline of Monday.
