CUDA urged to lead credit union reform

CREDIT UNIONS registrar Brendan Logue has called on the Credit Union Development Association (CUDA) to lead the way in making necessary changes in the credit union movement.

Speaking at CUDA’s annual general meeting in Waterford over the weekend, Mr Logue said changes to key areas such as corporate governance, competitiveness, volunteerism, and technology were imperative to secure the future of the credit Union movement in Ireland.

CUDA represents 16 credit unions assets of over €1.5 billion.
