Renault drives FTSE forward

FRENCH stocks rose, paced by Renault SA. The car-maker climbed to the highest in at least 11 years after quarterly sales topped analysts’ estimates.

The CAC 40 Index advanced 13.9, or 0.3%, to 5235.34 in Paris, with 31 of its members gaining, eight falling and one unchanged. The SBF 120 Index added 0.2%.
