Pension reserve fund increases by €1.8bn

THE National Pensions Reserve Fund (NPRF) has increased in value by just over €1.8 billion so far this year.

The National Treasury Management Agency (NMTA), which oversees the fund, said yesterday that its assets are now worth €14.49bn, almost 15% more than at the beginning of the year.

In the three months to end September, its assets increased by 6.5%.
