Trinidad calls for Brewer

DIGICEL, Denis O’Brien’s Caribbean-based mobile business, has named former Eircell chief executive Stephen Brewer as the new head of its operations in Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr Brewer will take up the job in November. He is best known for building up Eircell before its sale.

He oversaw the integration of Eircell into Vodafone’s network before taking a senior position with the firm in Britain. He has also worked with O2, France Telecom Mobile and Cable & Wireless.
