Channel Six all set to go live tonight

IRELAND’S newest television station - the entertainment-focused Channel 6 - finally goes live tonight offering a mix of US comedy and drama shows as well as a number of Irish-made music and movie news shows.

The station, which is planning to spend €4 million on advertising and marketing in its first year, has already been heavily promoting itself in the run up to tonight’s 8pm launch.

“We are urging everyone to tune in tonight at 8pm for what promises to be a really exciting first night’s viewing on Channel 6.
