TCH gets new group marketing manager

THOMAS CROSBIE HOLDINGS LIMITED (TCH), owner of the Irish Examiner, has appointed Willie Cremen MBA as group marketing manager, following the decision of Patrick Kierans to leave and set up his own marketing company.

TCH managing director Anthony Dinan said: “We are delighted at the appointment as Willie has held several senior management positions with us, including chief executive of The Irish Post and Kildare Nationalist, and his experience will add immensely to the group.

“I would also like to pay tribute to Patrick for his contribution since October 2001.

“I wish him every success in his new venture and look forward to working with him in the future.”

Commenting on his departure, Mr Kierans said: “I really enjoyed my time at TCH and am proud of how the group has developed over the three years.

“I look forward to working with Willie over the next six weeks and, indeed, to maintaining a close working relationship with the group in the future.”
