IAWS appoints new officer

Food group IAWS has appointed Tom O’Mahony as chief operations officer. Mr O’Mahony is currently the group’s general manager for finance and has been with IAWS since 1985.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a commerce graduate from UCD.

Chief executive Owen Killian said: “Tom has played a key management role at group level in acquisitions, disposals, business integration and financial control over the past two decades. His appointment is a further step in building a group management team to drive ongoing growth in existing and new markets.”
