Casino operator in Malaysian link up

The largest British casino operator Stanley Leisure has said it is joining forces with Malaysia’s Genting Berhad to develop Las Vegas-style casinos in Britain and capitalise on the relaxation of the country’s gambling laws.

Genting, Asia’s biggest publicly traded casino group, will control half of a joint company formed to build and run so-called regional casinos in Britain.
