Remarkable turnaround for tourism sector

I have had cause to travel to many parts of the country over the past few weeks and I have been struck by the number of overseas tourists in the country.

Dublin is booming on the tourism front at the moment, but that is nothing unusual for the capital city.

However, the rest of the country has endured some pretty challenging times over recent years, but clearly 2014 has seen a remarkable improvement in tourism activity.
