Hilton's ex-partner arrested a second time in two days

Paris Hilton's former business partner Feridoun 'Fred' Khalilian has been arrested for the second time in two days.

Khalilian, who opened ill-fated nightspot Club Paris with Hilton in Orlando in 2004, turned himself into police in Florida on Wednesday to face accusations of raping a woman in her 20s in his home on Friday.

Just hours after being released on a $6,000 (€4,100) bond, Khalilian was arrested again on an outstanding warrant for battery of a police officer.

The second arrest is related to an incident in Jacksonville, Florida bar The Ritz in September 2006, when police say Khalilian refused to pay his bill and started shouting profanities, before grabbing a policeman's arm and pushing him.

He has been charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and trespassing.
