Amazon pours additional €2.4bn into AI start-up Anthropic

Amazon has said it is pouring an additional $2.75bn (€2.4bn) into Anthropic, bringing its total investment in the artificial intelligence start-up to four billion dollars (€4.6bn).

Amazon will maintain a minority stake in San Francisco-based Anthropic, a rival of ChatGPT maker OpenAI.
