Restaurants and cafes in France allowed to serve customers outdoors from May 19

President Emmanuel Macron has said the outdoor terraces of France’s cafes and restaurants will be allowed to reopen on May 19 along with museums, cinemas, theatres and concert halls under certain conditions.

Mr Macron has outlined a four-step plan to reopen the country and revive its economy.
