Coronavirus cases and deaths reach record highs in countries around the world

Nations around the world have set new records for coronavirus deaths and new cases of Covid-19.

Brazil became just the third country, after the US and Peru, to report a 24-hour tally of Covid-19 deaths that exceeded 4,000 this week.
