'Dozens killed' in clashes between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria

Nigeria's presidency has said "killings across a number of communities" have occurred in its a central state as a report suggested 86 people had died in clashes between mostly Muslim herders and Christian farmers.
President Muhammadu Buhari appealed for calm as the military and police tried to end the "deeply unfortunate" bloodshed in the Plateau state and said "no efforts will be spared" to find the attackers and prevent reprisal attacks.
