Srebrenica commander seen as hero for defence of Muslims cleared of war crimes
Bosnia's war crimes court has acquitted the wartime commander of Srebrenica, who was accused of committing atrocities against Serb prisoners during the 1992-95 Balkan conflict.
Naser Oric is seen as a hero by many Muslims in Bosnia for his role in defending Srebrenica where some 8,000 Muslim men and boys were massacred by Serb forces in 1995.
