Israeli troops have shot and killed a Palestinian assailant after he rammed his vehicle into a group of Israelis in the West Bank, the military said.
The Palestinian driver attacked Israeli security forces near the southern city of Hebron, according to officials.
Hebron has been a flashpoint in the last three months of near-daily Palestinian attacks.
Since mid-September, Palestinians have killed 19 Israelis. At least 109 Palestinians have died by Israeli fire, 73 of them said by Israel to be attackers while the others died in clashes with security forces.
Israel blames incitement by political and religious leaders for the violence. Palestinians say the attacks stem from despair at Israel’s occupation.
