Criminal investigation ongoing over flight MH17
Dutch prosecutors have said it could be some time before we find out who was responsible for bringing down flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine.
A criminal investigation is ongoing.
Yesterday, a report found it was hit by a missile last year launched from an area under the control of pro-Russian rebels, but former Kremlin Adviser Aleksandr Nekrasov has said evidence from the Russian Defence Ministry suggests otherwise.
“They showed us satellite images of the Buk missile system which was in the Ukrainian controlled area,” Mr Nekrasov said.
“We are at the middle stage here, we are waiting for the most important part of this investigation, the criminal one.”
Meanwhile the son of an Australian couple killed when the flight MH17 crashed in eastern Ukraine has said Russia is not the only party at fault.
Paul Guard has said he blames the wider conflict in the region.
