Lightning kills 22 in India; women's cricket teams narrowly escape being struck

Lightning has killed 22 people, mostly farm labourers working in fields, across the south eastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The state’s chief minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, said the fatalities occurred when thunderstorms and rain lashed eight districts in Andhra Pradesh.
