Police issue appeal as 7-year-old boy goes missing after playing with friends

Police in the UK are appealing for information about a missing seven-year-old boy who has not been seen since last night.

Conley Thompson, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire in England, had gone to play with his friends at Locke Park at around 6pm.

He is believed to have left around two hours later and was due to return home to Underwood Avenue in Worsbrough, but never turned up.

The youngster was reported missing a short time later, and police are now growing increasingly concerned about his whereabouts.

Conley was last seen wearing a blue checked shirt, red shoes, a black coat and brown trousers.

Anyone who believes they may have seen the schoolboy is asked to call South Yorkshire Police.
