Number of Ebola cases 'could double every three weeks'

The number of Ebola cases in West Africa could double every three weeks, the World Health Organisation has warned.

The estimate comes as the UN health agency said the cost of containing the deadly virus has risen to nearly $1bn since it was identified in March.
