'Six stabbed, many injured' in US school incident
Media in the US are reporting that a number of people have been stabbed outside Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville in Pennsylvania.
Spokesman for Westmoreland County emergency management Dan Stevens said five or six people were reported stabbed this morning at the school, about 15 miles east of Pittsburgh.
It is believed around 20 people have been injured, says CBS Pittsburgh.
Police say the suspect, who is male and is reportedly a student at the school, has been arrested.
Franklin Regional High School posted a statement on their website: "A critical incident has occurred at the high school. All elementary schools are cancelled, the middle school and high school students are secure. Additional information will be released as soon as possible. Please keep our campus clear of traffic."
