Rome 'days away from bankruptcy'

The mayor of Rome is warning that the city is just days away from bankruptcy.

Ignazio Marino spoke after the Italian parliament threw out a bill that would have given new funding to the Italian capital.

He says essential services such as public transport could grind to a halt.
