The vending machine for dogs
A vending machine for dogs has been created.
The canine contraption – which is believed to be a world first - has arrived on Clapham Common in South London, and makes the four-legged friends work hard to try to access a tasty treat for themselves by pulling a bone attached to a lever.
After pawing the handle, a tennis ball shoots out of the top of the vending machine which the pooches must return in order for them to pick up a prize.
Peter Neville - an animal expert who works with Bakers Complete dog food – said: "Imagine stumbling across a doggy vending machine that adds challenge and excitement to your run in the park.
"All it takes is a little focus, and dogs can earn a tasty Bakers Complete reward simply by engaging in a stimulating mix of mind and body."
