Dougnut sandwich with eggs and bacon brought into America

A doughnut sandwich containing eggs and bacon has been created.

According to Eater, Dunkin' Donuts has introduced the Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich – which features a glazed donut, pepper fried eggs and bacon rashers - to its menu at selected shops in Massachusetts.

A spokesperson for Dunkin' Donuts explained: "We constantly strive to offer a wide variety of products to satisfy the needs of our guests."

The calorific treat is being sold for $2.99, and customers can also add hash browns to the meal for an extra fee.
