A 44-year-old immigrant from the Dominican Republic has won a $338m (€260.7m) Powerball lottery jackpot in the US.

The New Jersey Lottery said the winning ticket for the fourth-largest jackpot in Powerball history was sold at an off-licence in Passaic, New Jersey.
