Man calls police to complain about sandwich order

A US man called the police to complain about a wrong sandwich order.

Rother McLennon felt it necessary to ring the emergency services as he wasn't happy with the food he had been served at a deli in East Hartford, Connecticut, and he wanted to have his grievance heard straight away.

He told the 911 dispatcher: "They are playing games with me, so I was just wondering if you could come by."

Following his complaint, McLennon has since apologised to the deli and now plans to shop elsewhere for his sandwiches.
