SpaceX sends rocket towards International Space Station

US company SpaceX has become the first commercial outfit to send its own rocket towards the International Space Station.

On board the capsule - named Dragon - are the ashes of actor James Doohan, who played Scotty in Star Trek.

His remains, along with those of more than 300 other space fans, are to be dispatched into the final frontier.
