Call for daily ceasefire in Syria

The Red Cross has called for a daily two-hour ceasefire in Syria so that it can deliver emergency aid and reach people who are wounded or sick.

The appeal came as activists said 50 people were killed nationwide, including 30 in government shelling against the resistance stronghold of Homs.
