Man 'tries to sell son on Facebook'
A Saudi man has reportedly tried to sell his son on Facebook for around $20m.
Saud bin Nasser Al Shahry claims selling his only son via the social networking site would enable him to avoid "living in poverty" after his illegal debt-collection business was closed down, he told Qatari news outlet Al Sharq.
It is not clear whether he has only said he will sell his son as a publicity stunt, or if he wants to carry out the sale, despite human-trafficking's being an offence in Saudi Arabia.
He said the only condition of the sale is that he wants to know which city the buyer lives in.
