In the US, a man is being sued for keeping Twitter followers that he attracted while working for a US mobile news website.

In the US, a man is being sued for keeping Twitter followers that he attracted while working for a US mobile news website.

Noah Kravitz tweeted for Phonedog but later changed his username when he left the company - taking 17,000d followers with him.

The company has said the followers constitute a customer list and as such belong to Phonedog.

It is now seeking damages equivalent to €1.90 per user, per month - a total of €283,000.
