American Samoa win first game in 18 years
An international football team have won their first game in 18 years.
American Samoa have ended a run of 30 straight defeats by beating Tonga 2-1 in only their second victory ever, which prompted wild celebrations from the players and coaching staff.
Coach Thomas Rongen explained: "Maybe we have a chance to do something special here beyond this one game, but let's enjoy this one right now."
American Samoa - who hold the record for the heaviest ever international defeat when they lost to Australia 31-0 - are currently joint-last in the FIFA World Rankings.
