Disappointment for politician defeated by deceased candidate

A deceased US mayor has won more votes than his opposite number.

The late Henry Roesler Jr defeated Kevin Erb by 14 votes in an election to see who would be the new mayor of West Michigan for the next two years, despite dying of cancer a week before the election.
